What is acquaintance knowledge?
Knowing of someone a place e.g. I know Oxford
What is Ability knowledge?
Knowing how to do something e.g. i know how to ride a bike
What is propositional knowledge?
Knowing that some claim is true or false e.g. i know that elephants are heavier than mice
Name the 3 types of knowledge
- Propositional
- Ability
- Acquaintance
Define a necessary condition
One (possibly one of several) that must be true in order for another condition to occur
Define Sufficient condition
One that if true guarantees a certain outcome
What does necessary and sufficient mean?
Conditions of another means that the former statement is true if and only is the latter is true( x is y if it meant the criteria and only if it meets the criteria)
