George could “get along so easy” if he didn’t have Lennie. Suggests that friendship can be a barrier but the positives are better than negatives
Calls Lennie a “crazy bastard”. Suggests that even if people don’t like each other that much, they still need to be friends just so they aren’t lonely
George says he won’t let Lennie “tend the rabbits”. Suggests that George is dominant in the friendship but in this case it works out
