Replaces a noun in a sentence

What does a possessive pronoun do? Provide an example
A
- Shows ownership = usually end in -s, unlike possessive determiners, and are not followed by a noun
- “This house is MINE, not YOURS”

What is a reflexive pronoun? Provide an example
A
- Refer back to a previous pronoun
- “You can suit YOURSELF”

A
- Allows us to be indefinite
- “SOMEBODY has taken my shoe!”
- no one, none, nothing, anyone

- Shows reciprocity
- Each other, one another (there’s only these 2)

- Relates to first/second/third person and sing/plural
