What is an attributive adj?
An adjective that goes before the noun
What is a post-positive adj?
Goes straight after the noun
What is a predicative adj?
Goes after the noun with a verb in between
What is an evaluative adj?
Offers judgement on the noun being described
What is a comparative adj?
Usually ends in -er or has “more” in front; makes comparisons
What is a superlative adj?
Usually end in -est or has “most” in front of them; makes comparisons
What is a demonstrative adj?
Demonstrates a noun/equivalent (always before the noun) for example, this boy
What is a possessive adj?
Shows ownership, always comes before a noun and needs a noun after, for example my dog
What is an indefinite adj?
Expresses an unspecific amount of something, for example, some money
What is a proper adjective?
The adjectival form of a proper noun
What is a compound adj?
Combining more than one word into a singular lexical unit (polo-neck, air-tight)
What is the adj in this sentence; “Do you have any cheap rooms?”
