Elbow - muscles (flexion and extension) Flashcards
Name the 4 elbow flexor muscles and identify where they are located on the human body (if unable check on Complete Anatomy)
Long head of biceps brachii
Short head of biceps brachii

Brachioradialis
What is the Origin, Insertion and Innervation of the long head of biceps brachii muscle?
Origin – Supraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Insertion – Radial tuberosity and antebrachial fascia
Innervation – Musculocutaneous nerve (C5-C6)
What is the Origin, Insertion and Innervation of the short head of biceps brachii muscle?
Origin – Apex of coracoid process of scapula
