The urgency of landing is paramount. Primary consideration is to assure survival of the occupants. Landing in water, trees or other unsafe areas should be considered only as last resort.

The landing site and the duration of flight are at the discretion of the Pilot. Extended flight beyond the nearest approved landing area where appropriate assistance can be expected is not recommended. Maintenance assistance has no priority for decision making.

1. IDLE, check indications, then OFF
DOUBLE ENGINE EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN
ON GROUND
- Both ENG MAIN sw´s - OFF
- Both FADEC sw´s - OFF
- Both Fuel PRIME PUMP sw´s - OFF
- BAT MSTR sw - OFF
If engines are still running:
- Both TWIST GRIP´s - Shut off
DOUBLE ENGINE EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN
IN FLIGHT
- Both ENG MAIN sw´s - OFF
- Both FADEC sw´s - OFF
If engines are still running:
- Both TWIST GRIP´s - Shut off
SINGLE ENGINE FAILURE - LANDING/HOVER/TAKEOFF
- Collective lever - Adjust to maintain Nro
LANDING / Rejected TAKEOFF
2. Landing attitude - Establish
3. Collective lever - Cushion Landing
Transition to OEI-flight
2. Single engine fly away - Perform
SINGLE ENGINE FAILURE - FLIGHT
- OEI flight condition - Establish
DOUBLE ENGINE FAILURE - HOVER
- Hover AR - Perform
DOUBLE ENGINE FAILURE - FLIGHT
- AR - Perform
FADEC FAILURE (System 1 or 2)
- Collective lever - Adjust, maintain Nro within limits
ENGINE OVERSPEED - DRIVESHAFT FAILURE
- OEI flight condition - Establish
- Affected Engine - Identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown - Perform
ENGINE OVERSPEED - GOVERNING FAILURE
- Collective lever - Raise, maintain Nro within limits
- Affected engine - Identify
- TWIST GRIP - Reduce torque
FUEL FILTER
Both caution indications
- Land ASAP
ENGINE FIRE
ON GROUND
- Respective EMER OFF sw - Unguard, Press
- Double engine emergency shutdown - Perform
ENGINE FIRE

- Both TWIST GRIP´s - Turn to minimum
- Hover AR - Perform
TAIL ROTOR DRIVE FAILURE - HOGE
- Collective lever - Reduce immeditly
- Both TWIST GRIP´s - Turn to minimum
- Airspeed - Gain, if height permits
- Hover AR - Perform
TAIL ROTOR DRIVE FAILURE/FIXED PITCH - FORWARD FLIGHT
- Collective lever - Adjust
- Airspeed - Not below 70 KIAS
