cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 1- it takes 7 years to become cervical cancer

what are the signs and symptoms

• There is no clinical sign or symptom

how is diagnosis made
A
Pap smear o and confirmed with biopsy

treatment
A
In CIN I = 3 year colposcopy and treatment with loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) if persistent
In CIN II= destruction or excision of lesion via cryotherapy or laser therapy. LEEP is used to remove endocervical lesions
