diagnosis is made via what test and what is seen

A

 Wet mount (motile flagellated T.vaginalis) may be noted
 Gram stain= in gonorrhoea (gram negative intracellular diplococci)
 Viral culture =for viral causes
 PCR= for gonorrhoea and chlamydia

treatment?

A

 T. vaginalis = metronidazole
 Gonorrhoea = ceftriaxone
 Chlamydia = doxycycline or azithromycin
 Herpes = acyclovir
