- Pelvic mass may be felt - in assoc with endometriosis

- High vaginal and endocervical swab
- Pelvic ultrasound scan
- Diagnostic laproscopy

Why was the vaginal/endocervical swab done?
A
Exclude pelvic infection in particular
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Neisseria gonorrhoea

Why was the Pelvic ultrasound done?
A
Detection of endometriomas (endometrisosis)
Enlarged uterus
( adenomyosis)

Management of Dysmenorrhoea
A
- NSAIDs
- Oral contraceptive
- LNG-IUS
- GnRH analogues
