A
- Mutation of the SRY gene on the Y chromosome
- thus despite having XY chromosomes, gonads do that develop into testes
- Absence of anti mullerian hormone means that fallopian tubes and uterus still develop
- Baby is phenotypically female despite being genetically male (XY)
