What is delayed puberty?
A
Delayed puberty is when there are no signs of secondary sexual characteristics by the age of 14 years

What is hypogonadotropic hypogonadism?
A
- low levels of GnRH hormone circulating as a result there is insufficient stimulation of the gonads to secrete sex hormones and initiate puberty.

The failure of the gonads to respond despite high circulation of gonadotropin hormones
