Glycagon
A chemical that stores glucose.
Is a carbon hydrate.
Keeps your blood sugar levels at a consistent level when haven’t eaten for a while
Diabetes type 1 - how you get it
An illness that means your pancreas does not produce enough insulin to keep your blood levels at a constant. Means that patients have to be injected with insulin at controlled times
Diabetes type 2 - how do you get it
Another type of diabetes that is common among old people also linked to obesity and over-exercise. In this case your pancreas still creates insulin but your cells become immune to it and so no blood control happens
