Vitamin A derivative for acne and photo damaged skin
Reduces hyperkeratinization and thickens epidermis
Takes months of use for results
Sides: erythema, peeling, photosensitivity
Isoretinoin/Accutane
vitamin A derivative for acne, rosacea, or hidradenitis supperativa
Decreases hyperkeratinization, sebum production and the bac that causes acne
Teratogenicity!!! Depression, psychosis, myalgias, hyperlipidemia
