Diffuse or nodular infiltrates of→ small lymphocytes
→ lymphoplasmacytoid cells
→ plasma cells
In dermis
Typically spares epidermis
MZL → neoplastic cells?
CD79+
CD19+
CD20+
CD5-,10-
MZL → features?
Solitary or multiple papules & nodules
Location → trunk & extremities
DX → flow cytometry
On peripheral smear → small nuclei & abundant cytoplasm with “shaggy” “villous” projection
Treatment → radiotherapy ,
immune therapies in disseminated lesions → IFN -alpha & il-2, mab against CD20
