A

The peplos was similar to the Doric chiton, that is with an apotygma;
but was considerably narrower and
the apotygma was very short, ending well above the waistline.

A

Men from the upper class and intelligentsia often wore only the himation, a large rectangular wrap.
In colder weather a much larger cloak was worn known as the Himation.
The himation was also worn as outer wrap by both men and women.
