How does a Contract Administrator role differ from that of an Employer’s Agent?
Contract Administrator - administers what the contract says, managing the contract between both the employer and the contractor. The role starts when the construction contract is signed.
Employer’s Agent - acts on behalf of the employer on all matters. The role starts much earlier than that of the contract administrator, typically during the tendering stage.
What is the role of an NEC PM and the NEC Supervisor?
Project Manager - the named person within the Contract Data who will administer the contract on behalf of the client and is the designated authority to issue all instructions, notifications and other communications required under the contract
Supervisor - their sole responsibility is to check for compliance to the Scope and check defects, and is independent to the project manager

In contrast, a CA is responsible for administering the contract itself, ensuring compliance with the contract.
