Mostly in underprivileged or third world countries
over nutrition
○ Overconsumption of nutrients due to too much processed food leading to lifestyle disease such as obesity
Mostly occurs in wealthy countries where there is vast amounts of food available
political instability
○ Conflict with other countries can result in the stoppage of imports and therefore less food available
War can lead to damage to infrastructure and therefore distribution of food can be difficult
