Muscular Strength
the maximal force that a muscle or muscle group can exert during a contraction.
Muscular Endurance
the ability of a muscle or muscle group to exert force against a resistance over a sustained period of time.
Cardiovascular Endurance
the maximal capacity of the heart, blood vessels, and lungs to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the working muscles so that energy can be produced.
Flexibility
the ability to move joints through their normal full range of motion (ROM)
Body Composition
refers to the makeup of the body in relation to proportions of lean body mass and body fat.
Lean Body Mass
muscles, bones, nervous tissue, skin, blood, and organs.
Body Fat/Adipose Tissue
to store energy for later use.
Essential Body Fat
the amount of fate thought to be necessary for maintenance of life and reproductive function.
