What are the prerequisites for an arrest after a collision for bloods and urine?
A
- The crash participant is not already already a crash hospital patient
- Police officer believes,
- One or more persons have died as a result of the crash, or
- it is more likely than not that a person will die within 30 dyas as a result of the crash.

When should police arrange for crash investigation unit to attend when a collision involves?
A
- Death or serious injuries, GBH where serious indictable charges are likely.
- Death or serious injury, GBH where the party at fault cannot be determined.
- Failure to stop with people killed or seriously injured, GBH.
- Death or serious injury, GBH where a police vehicle or on-duty member is involved (incl pursuit, urgent duty, engaged in a operation)
- A major incident or unusual in nature
