What is club mark?
Club mark is an award given to outstanding clubs in the community that work with children.
What is the club mark criteria?
The playing programme, duty of care, sports equality and ethics and club management.
What is included in the playing program?
Club coaching sessions, competitive structures, coaching and training staff, club venue.
What is included in the duty of care?
Duty of care and safeguarding, protecting children, clubs must familiarise themselves with NGB safety measures and adhere to them.
What is included in the sports equality and ethics?
A club management group must aim to ensure: that the club is a place that is child friendly, free for discrimination and unfair behaviour.
What is included in the club management?
Well managed clubs have: well ordered finance, good communication, efficient day to day running , good links with external partners and plans for the future.
