Describe the processes of cloning plants by tissue culture..

• different combinations of plant hormones are used to first make the cells divide rapidly, then to differentiate the cells into stem, root and leaf cells
• the cells need to grown in sterile (aseptic) conditions to avoid fungus infections
• this is mainly because plant cells have the ability to differentiate while animal cells can’t do this unless they are stem cells
