possible palpable tender mass, leukocytosis

metaplastic w/completely differentiated glandular elements.
What shows on histological exam of hamartomatous polyps?
mixture of normal tissues
What shows on histological exam of inflammatory polyps?
epithelial inflammatory rxn

Benign
What are the 3 types of adenomatous polyps that can result from failed differentiation of glandular elements?
tubular, mixed, and villous
What size of an adenomatous polyp that puts u at a higher risk for malignancy?
> 1cm
