When the victim and the defendant meets and try to agree.

A group of people who work to agree, including the defendant and victim.

When the victim share their experience with the offender.

A small group holding a meeting with offender, working to agree.
What is restorative justice?
A theory that not only seeks to repair harm, but to also address/heal harm as well, without focusing on the punishment portion.
In restorative justice, the victim wants…?
The victim wants accountability for the defendant.
What is recidivism?
Occurs when someone repeats criminal behavior after already having been punished for that behavior.
