To prevent any negative effects on them E.g. if the experiment is about labelling, the teachers’ identity should be kept private to stop them from receiving negative comments

When their participants are partially vulnerable due to factors such as age, disability or physical/mental health

Serious ethical problems such as deceiving or lying to people to obtain information
Why do some argue that covert research is justified?
Because if gains the researcher access to secretive, dangerous or powerful groups
