- Vesicular fluid test

Chicken pox MANAGEMENT
- bed rest (due to malaise)
- Fluids (diaphoresis= replace fluid loss)
- ANTIPYRETICS (fever)
- Daily lukewarm/tepid baths (for comfort to relieve pruritus)
- Baking soda: Add one cup of baking soda to a shallow, lukewarm bath. Soak for 15 minutes.
- Cut fingernails short and keep clean
- Don mittens (pedia)
