What is the function of the iris?
Iris controls the amount of light entering the eye
What is the function of the lens?
The lens focuses light on the retina. It changes shape depending on what we’re looking at
What is the function of the pupil?
The pupil lets light into the eye
What is the function of the retina
The retina absorbs light to allow us to see
What is the function of the cornea
The cornea allows light to enter the front of the eye
What is the function of the optic nerve
The optic nerve carries messages from the eye to the brain
What is the function of the ciliary muscle
The ciliary muscle changes the shape of the lens
