Q

Describe “referral area”

A

Referral areas are points that are related anatomically and physiologically either by an organ (through the meridians) or other physiological connection. Referral areas are useful if the zone or reflex that needs to be worked on is injured. For example if there is an ankle problem, the wrist may be worked in its place.
