our environment is shaped and so is our behavior and it is easy to get large quantities of energy-dense foods fastfoods no access to gym, park, etc not safe to go out poor etc.

start with small goals to lose 1-2 pounds per week

Athletes especially because they burn so many calories
depending on the amount of physical activity the protein should be higher or lower
Behavioral Goals
statement of intent to perform a specific behavior for a specific period of time “i will lower body fat by 3%”
Long term weight control
starting off easy and small and increasing that over a period of time will be beneficial. Setting unrealistic goals can lead to failure in maintaining weight loss over time
How should one eat?
smaller portions
portion control
meal prep
not while watching tv etc
What is an obesigenic environment?
surroundings, opportunities, and conditions of life that support an obese lifestyle

injections of materials into fat in order to attempt to reduce the localized collections of fat
