coaches should know alot about the sport they are coaching, but good coaches will have other expertise:
-interpersonal skills (connection with others)
-intrapersonal knowledge (openess to learning and self reflection)

- children, adolescents, adults
- coaches often struggle to explain how they specifically target these competencies
