- physical symptoms that go away when staying at home
what is enuresis & how do you as a nurse treat it?
cant control pee –> pee in bed
- education, behavior modification, reassurance
- medications & complementary + alternative medication
what is encopresis & how do you as a nurse treat it?
uncontrollable pooping yourself because of constipation
- rule out structure issues
- find cause
- diet modifications
- bowel retraining
- behavior therapy
what is pediculosis capitis?
LICE – they love their oiy hair

what are scabies?
bugs that lay ends under the skin
- super itchy

how do you treat scabies?
using a special lotion all over the skin –> sleep –> shower it off –> repeat 2-3x
what is tinea corporis & tinea capitis?
a fungal infection that shows as a pink circle, can be called “ring worm”

Griseofulvin (anti fungal)
what is molluescum contagiosum?
a disease that shows pink circle donut like bumps – face, arms & legs
