Q

Describe the lymphatic path way
(hint: 7 key words)

A

STARTs with lymphatic capillaries that turn into lymphatic vessels and then become even bigger to turn into LARGE lymphatic vessels so it can merge into a lymphatic trunk. From the trunk it contains COllecting ducts, with both combined it creates veins to the THORAX

Majpriy of the body

25
What is inflammation?
Response to injury or infection
26
Natural killer (NK) cells are what type of cell?
Lymphocyte
27
Lymph eventually is returned to the circulation at what blood vessels?
Right and Left subclavian veins
28
What is the function of lymph nodes
To filter the lymph(any dust, trash to eat) and keep an eye for anything that does not belong to alert the immune system
29
What is the function of the thymus?
lymphocyte MATURATION
30
What are peyers patches & their location? What is their function?
They ar clusters of lymphoid structures on the small intestinal wall FUNC? To prevent bacteria breach on small intestine
