Cause: arthritis (inflammation of joints) causes arthralgia
colostomy
surgical procedure to bring one end of the large intestine through a stoma
Cause: injury, illness, cancer, or blockage can cause inability to pass
stoma
name of surgical opening in abdomen wall. Opening is made to properly eliminate and collect waste in a colostomy bag.
cyanosis
palor blue discolouration to skin, nails, gums, and lips due to lack of O2 in blood.
Cause: Lack of oxygiated blood can cause cyanosis in extremeties.
