A
18-35 yrs old after acute bending or twisting motion

- cerv. FRACTURE
- whiplash
- cerv. facet syndrome

A
- sharp shooting pain with radiculopathy
- unilat. arm pain/numbness/tingling
- dejereine’s triad
- C5/6 AND C6/7 area
- worse with ext. and rotation

refuting factors
A
- non-traumatic MOI
- no radiating signs
- dull/achy pain
- bilateral sign
- no dejereine’s triad

- Bakody’s sign
- dejereine’s and valsalva
- cerv. distraction, foraminal compression, jackson’s modified spurlings and max. compression

- Gp or orthopaedic specialist for any myotomes less than 3 or signs of spasticity
