How are CDs destroyed?
CD 2-4-1 placed in waste containers with other pharmaceutical waste after denaturing. Denaturing kits inactivate CDs

Describe the destruction of solid dosage forms
Crush tablets/caps and add small amount of water to reduce release into air before adding to denaturing kit

Describe the destruction of liquid dosage forms
Pour into denaturing kit and mix. Rinse empty bottle with water and empty into kit, so bottle can be thrown into bin

Ampoules are opened and contents poured into denaturing kit, and put empty ampoules in sharps bin. Powder ampoule - add water and pour into denaturing kit
