Needs and predicaments come from organism:environment exchanges not from personality or environment alone.

Coping-the psycholgical, physiological and behavioral response that is set in motion as a result of stress. fuctions include problem-solving, managing negative feelings and maintaining self -esteem.
NIche and Habitat-status occupied in a given social sturcture. Habitats are where organisms are found and they must support life.
