lazy eye
- if an eye is not functioning properly, brains stops receiving info from bad eye
- binocular vision allows us to have depth perception, but with only one good eye this is lacking
-sometimes caused by imbalances of eye muscles, & we get wandering eye

treatment for amblyopia
A
if untreated results in blindness
- if problem is muscular, can do training exercises
- if problem is w the eye, eye patch over good eye to make bad eye work and brain starts receiving info from it again
