- Heel pain caused by separation of the growth plate at the heel due opposite forces via muscle growth/contraction
- Leads to irritation at the heel with inflammation

- progressive worsening with activity
- redness swelling and irritation in heels

A
- Ice and elevation
- massage therapy
- Taping
- Stretching of the calf and hamstring complex
- footwear and orthotics
