CR angle and centering for lat C-spine? (and other MAJOR important pt instruction….)
CR perpendicular to C4 (SID 72”)
EXPIRATION! RELAX AND DROP SHOULDERS!
CR angle and centering for swimmer’s C-spine/Twining method?
CR perpendicular to T1 (1” above jugular notch) @ SID 72” EXPIRATION
arm closest to IR up and out of the way, other arm down and the out of the way opp to other arm
…may be angled 5 degrees cephalic/caudad
What XR should be done first w C-spine?
If trauma - cross-table lat; if not, just lat - check for subluxation/fractures
