A

A

check for response by shaking shoulders and shouting loudly - if no response then call for help and if respond then request urgent medical review and put in recovery

A

A

if well fitted then keep in as will maintain the structure of face whilst resuscitating

what are the signs if life?

A

10 seconds to assess by kneeling next to - see rise and fall of chest, feel breath on cheek, listen for breathing sounds, check for perfusion such as limb movement and coughing and feel for body warmth (and carotid pulse if possible)

A

they need urgent medical attention - whilst waiting for this assess using ABCDE, give oxygen and cannulate

A
