Traditional Anti-psychotics
High Potency Agents: Haloperidol, Pimozide, Fluphenazine, Trifluoperazine
Low Potency Agents: Clorpromazine, Prochlorperazine, Thioridazine, Quetiapine

A

Cause side effects more than low potency

Low-potency: have fewer eps

Hyperprolactinemia: Rx: Bromo or Perg

NMS: Dantrolene or Bromo
H&Pi rx for tourette’s
Give m-blocker with these rxs.
Pro: drug/radiation emesis

c: causes agranulocytosis, drooling, seizures
r: new drug w/ eps
