In the last picture, we saw a man facing torture because he loved the Lord Jesus. There were many believers in Jesus who had to leave their homes and cities in order to live in safety. These people were going from one place to another and talking abotu Jesus to their neighbors. They were meeting together in order to sing to Jesus and praise God. And they were encouraging and helping one another.

Most believers in Jesus meet together every week. They read the Bible, sing praises, pray, and encourage one another. This is the reason we go to church. The church is a great place to worship God and get to know new friends who are believers in Jesus.

When Jesus was on earth, one of His believers baptized Him and his name was John the Baptist. And we learn from Jesus that we should be baptized too. And the meaning of baptism is that we are telling all the people that we believe in the Lord Jesus. Baptism is very important. Ask your parents about baptism in your church. In this picture we see John the Baptist, and he is baptizing the Lord Jesus by submerging Him in the water.

On the night which preceded the death of Jesus on the cross, He ate His last supper with His disciples. He wanted to do something that the disciples can remember. Jesus took bread, gave thanks for it, and gave His disciples to eat from it. He also took a cup, gave thanks, and told His disciples to drink from it. In this picture we see Jesus giving bread to His disciples. And when we eat the Lord's supper in the church, we remember that the Lord Jesus died because of our sins and that we believe in Him.
