(little albert fearing all furry animals - not just white rat)

Q

what is spontaneous recovery?

A

a CS - CR relation is extinguished
after a period where no CS presentations, the CS may elicit the CR again - but not as strong
treatment for anxieties etc.

Q

what is latent learning?

A

Learning that is not immediately reflected in performance and is only evident in certain contexts.

Learning from experience when there appears no obvious reinforcement or
punishment for the specific behaviour.

(not apparent in the learner’s behavior at the time of learning, but which manifests later when a suitable motivation and circumstances appear)
