What are the 4 methods to maximise and improve balance?

A
  1. Widening the base of support by standing with feet outside shoulder width.
  2. Increase surface area to the ground (points of contact) by standing flat-footed.
  3. Lowering the centre of gravity by bending or crouching.
  4. Maintaining line of gravity in the muddle of the base of support.
