What is balance?
A
The ability of something to maintain or hold its position.

What are the 4 methods to maximise and improve balance?
A
- Widening the base of support by standing with feet outside shoulder width.
- Increase surface area to the ground (points of contact) by standing flat-footed.
- Lowering the centre of gravity by bending or crouching.
- Maintaining line of gravity in the muddle of the base of support.
