Wienviertel- largest subzone of Niederosterreich. Cooler climate than the rest of the area for fresher, lighter wines. Gruner only, 12.5% alc, has to pass a tasting panel to determine distinctive peppery notes and no hint of wood or botrytis. Reserve= 13% and hint of botrytis or wood.
Traisental- similar regs as above for classic and reserve. Can use GV or Riesling.
Kremstal- Krems river
Kamptal- Kamp river
