Hindrance stress
relates to stress that hinders an employee’s work performance. stressors include job ambiguity, job insecurity, and red tape
Challenge stress
a worker is challenged with more responsibility typically related to management shifting responsibility to lower levels. stressors include bureaucracy, negative conflict, job responsibility, and time management.
pulse survey
a short quick survey sent to employees (monthly, quarterly). purpose is to gather feedback and worker sentiment on an organization. measures things like job satisfaction, work environment, and communication.
