Attachment: Caregiver-infant interactions AO3 Flashcards

1
Q

What are 2 strengths for caregiver-infant interactions?

A

2 strengths:
- Controlled observations
- Still face experiment
2 limitations:
- Difficulty observing babies

Q

STRENGTH
How are observations controlled, what was done and the effects of these?

A
  • mother and babies were filmed in multiple angles for later analysis
  • babies do not know they are being filmed so good validity
  • more than one researcher can observe babies so good inter-rater reliability

Q
