stops prostaglandin synthesis which prevents platelet aggregation and reduces inflammatory processes

in acute cerebral TIA and stroke

nasal polyps associated with asthma
peptic ulcers
haemophilia
end of pregnancy

dyspepsia (stomach discomfort after eating)
increased bleeding tendencies
