Evidence stained with bodily fluids should be packaged how
Must be air dried before packaging and submission to lab.
All items should be packaged and sealed separately in breathable non plastic loose fitting containers. Should not be tightly bound packages ; the criminalizes must return items to containers which must be resealed after examinations

How is serology and dna analysis valuable
Bodily fluid stains are valuable to associate a suspect with a crime or eliminate them from suspect consideration
Comparison standard for blood
Obtain the standard by collecting at least 5 cubic centimeters of blood from the victim and all suspects
Standard for saliva collection
Wait 30 min after a person has eaten or smoking have them spit on cotton cloth about 1 square inch outline stain in pencil air dry them and place in samples in separate envelopes
Freeze or refrigerate dried samples and obtain a comparison blood standard
Latent fingerprint collection on nonporous materials
Deteriorate rapidly exposure to high temperature or humidity
