Some places were so terrified that they didn’t even try to fight

Everything got peaceful for the Mongol empire after they already conquered all their land, united all the european areas under one leader

The silk roads were the most prosperous and organized during the Mongol empire because they fell under mongol rule

The collapse of the Mongol Empire. When the empire started to fall so did the silk roads along with it, so there was more focus on maritime trade now
