Initial Setup

Using GTC 2 or 3, select Home > Perf > Active Perf > Climb and select the following Terminal Area Speed Limit settings:
Speed - 160 kt
Below 3000 ft (AGL)
Within 5 nm of departure airport

Close-In Procedure (NADP 1/ICAO A)

Answer 2

SPD - FMS
APU - OFF
Flaps - 1
Takeoff - Accomplish Static
At 400 ft - Flaps UP
VS - 1500 fpm
Airspeed - 160 kt
At 3000 ft AFE or 5 nm:
Vertical mode - Select
Normal climb - Resume

Close-In Procedure Notes

For VNAV step climb after initial level off below 3000 ft AGL, if altitude change is 1000 ft or less, do not select VS 1500 fpm. After entering an altitude capture mode (e.g., ALTS, VALTS), do not select VS 1500 fpm for any climb.
For extended flight below 3000 ft AFE, complete this procedure and resume normal operations after 5 nm from departure airport.
